Why won't men lead?...thanks Femina!

Once again I have to link to a terrific article over at Femina. This one is entitled Why Men Won't Lead. I think she hits the nail on the head! Look here to read it.

Interesting.

I don't have a strong response to this article--good or bad. So, I'm not sure. But I'll share my experience [smile].

I read a chapter in the Bible every weekday morning to my wife. I make sure we get to church on the weekends. So I lead in those areas because they are things I've done for a long time.

But praying with others isn't as much a part of my routine. I know my wife would love it if we did that more. So she's prodded a time or two [smile].

What I've found is that if it's not something I'm already doing, I'm not likely to stick with it. Change/adding stuff is hard.

Would it help if Brittany "pushed" me more? Not likely. But her encouragement to move in that direction is a good thing...

Hmm...

Yep. Just a couple thoughts. Nothing really solid.

Thanks for sharing!

I thought it was a great reminder to us wives what submission looks like. Thanks for posting. Love you!

I agree Denise. Since the article was directed at women, I think it was exactly what WE needed to hear. Of course there are challenges for the man on the other side. But, we women need to look at the ways that we might be hindering our husbands from taking the lead. Great to hear from you Denise :0)
